Privacy policy
Anyone who registers creates a profile with a username, email address, and optionally an avatar, signature, and other profile fields. This data is used solely to run the community (login, forum, messages, guestbook, PLoints) — it is never sold, never passed on to ad networks, and never used for anything beyond what is described here.
Part of the archive comes from the original 2006–2011 database: posts, comments, and public profile data from former members were carried over so discussions stay readable in context. Email addresses from the old records are never shown publicly. Anyone who appears in the archive and would rather not can get in touch at info@ploynt.com.
No tracking or advertising cookies are set. One cookie remembers the login session and, if set, the reduced-motion preference — both technically necessary, no third-party analytics.
