Valve entzieht TV-Rechte für Counterstrike 1.6

At the WSVG Grand Finals, we already saw a partnership with CBS (and its College Sports TV) and I am sure they will want to expand their successful ventures towards TV in 2007. With CGS not having a TV license for 1.6, I highly doubt WSVG will get one either.

Of course if the WSVG will run events such as LANWAR, CS 1.6 could be a featured game, but to lay down a stable structure for a year-round tournament, it will need a game that is allowed to be broadcasted on TV. So the question is: What will be left for them? In my opinion, the WSVG has three options. "Gears of War" on the Xbox 360, "CS:Source" and "Call of Duty 2."
